Most of us are the only child in our family. We have no brothers or sisters. Our family mainly consists of our mom,our dad and us. We are growing up in a world differently from our parents’. And we will be the future leaders of China. Some day we have to work hand in hand with each other and make China more and more beautiful. So we must learn to love each other like brothers and sisters.
It’s hard to think how difficult life would be if we had a sibling(同胞，手足).We never have to share anything at home. Of course, we might have cousins, but we don’t have to live with them! Our parents try to give us the best, and the best doesn’t need sharing between two or three children. Do we ever ask ourselves if we are (宠坏) spoiled?
A recent study has found that many children don’t know how to love others! We don’r know the value of money. We don’t know how hard our parents are to support us. We don’t want others to regard us as spoiled, do we? Well, why not start now to help our parents at home, share a game with one of our friends or value the opinions of our classmates, even if we don’t always agree? In a word, we must learn to love each other!

However, some people think that only children do more harm than disadvantages. For example, many parents show great dependence. And some never learn to do basic housework. What's worse, most are often spoiled, irrational, self-centered. They are "Little Emperors at home and school.".
As far as I know, their advantages and disadvantages are also "eye-catching". It is a science and an art to comment on the only child. Its progress should be reviewed. Schools, families and societies must give them space to use their creativity, skills and ideas. Remember, don't lavish them with care and supplies, or "little emperor" today will not be tomorrow by his master.

My father used to talk to me about his five siblings. He used to say that I was unfortunate that I had none. And I used to envy him and wonder how nice it would be to have a house ful of brothers and sisters. I also used to wonder what would happen to me if I were to lose my parents.
Frankly speaking, I do not have to share anything with anybody. I own all my parents' love. I can ask for anything I want. I always wear new clothes and eat the Dest food. Since my parents spend all their money on me, I can study at the best university of the country.
Lucky as I am, I now and then feel very lonely and I have nobody to complain about my loneliness. How I long for a quarrel with my brothers and sisters! So, I am happy but lonely; I am fortunate but piteous; I am loved but spoiled; I am well-bred but selfish, because I am the only child of the family.
