　　My Favourite Festival

　　There are many traditional festivals in China. My favourite festival is the Spring Festival. It is a very important festival for Chinese. Before the festival, people will go to visit their relatives and friends. They usually have a big dinner together and give best wishes to each other. Most children in China love this festival because they can play fireworks and lucky money from their parents and relatives.

　　The Spring Festival is the most lively Festival. The most interesting thing about this year's Spring Festival is that my father and I put fireworks.

　　On the morning of thirty, I went to buy fireworks with my father. To buy fireworks store, the variety of fireworks can be really a lot! A butterfly king, and lucky torch, felicitous wish of making money fireworks, thunder, thunder small cupola...... Anyway, all kinds of fireworks can't be said. My father bought me a relatively safe fireworks: Butterfly King, small fireworks, firework and felicitous wish of making money.

　　At eleven fifty-five on the thirty evening, my father and I went down to put the fireworks. I lit a butterfly king, "Yi Yi pops" out dazzling spark and the sound of an explosion. I lit a small spray, the flowers waved, draw a shining halo. Then I lit the fireworks, a ball from the fireworks riotous with colour, gun tube onto the sky, only to hear "bang" sound, colorful, very beautiful!

　　This new year's Eve is the most interesting time I've ever lived!

Because most people can have a long holiday,and we are free to go on a trip or vit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings,we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

　　Several days before the new year, people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs, sheep, cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

　　On the eve of the new year, each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fireworks to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year, almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. When
