Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents。 We stayed at a small village outside Saigon。 The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos。 Though it’s a very poor country， the kids seem to be happy。 They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day。 They don’t have TVs or Internet， but they enjoy a lot playing outside。 It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget。
Last summer holiday, I went to Hainan with my family. The weather was terrfifc! The sky was bule more than I could describe, the sea was blue and bright more than I could believe. Walking by the sea is just like being in the oil painting! We sailed to an island called Xidao. I swam there.Swimming is the sea is quite different from that in a pool. Because the depth is various all the time.Maybe the water can t afford you this minute优秀作文 , and then it will flow over your head! Besdieds the swimming, we also had a good meal there. We had a nice seafood dish. I forgot the name of that conch, but I bought back the shell. I f you want to have a look, you may ask me.Or, we may go to Hainan together, for I am always hoping to come to that place again. I really like that place, a place of bule and brightness.
Luopu park has beautiful scenery and is a good place for people to play often. Morning, morning people, practicing Tai Chi for the elderly, Grandpa and grandma, constitute a happy charming landscape. One morning, I went to the park with my father. I saw a few uncivilized behaviors. I was happy, but it became very heavy.
Not far away, a few people were making a noise, louder and louder. I ran over to see that the two more than 50 year old had been arguing over the birds. An old man hung a bird's cage on a tree. The happy birds were chattering all the time. Another old man came by and felt funny. He stopped to watch it. The bird said, "stop looking, or my bird will not cry."." The bird looked angry. "Look, what's the matter?"" Because of this, the two men had a big fight. There were more and more onlookers, and the two old people became more and more noisy.
Go forward again, walking, I saw a tree leaves yellow, have little vitality, summer is now leaves to be green Congcong yu. Look at other trees, lush foliage, vigorous, but this tree is dying. I was so curious that I went over to have a closer look before I realized that the bark had been chopped off and the tree was dead. What a pity! What a pity! I shook my head again and again.
Luopu park's scenery is so good, why do you want to destroy it? It is everyone's duty to play civilized and take good care of public property. Could you please do a civilized person, love park for this beautiful wind every tree and bush.
I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing， Dalian and HuHehot.
I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall， the Summer Palace， the Palace Museum， the Beihai Park， the Space Museum， etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.
Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.
Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the graland. I picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert， it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.
These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.
the tourist trade is booming. with all this coming and going, you’d expect greater understanding to develop between the nations of the world. not a bit of it! superb systems of communication by air, sea and land make it possible for us to visit each other’s countries at a moderate cost. what was once the ‘grand tour’, reserved for only the very rich, is now within everybody’s grasp. the package tour and chartered flights are not to be sneered at. modern travelers enjoy a level of comfort which the lords and ladies on grand tours in the old days couldn’t have dreamed of. but what’s the sense of this mass exchange of populations if the nations of the world remain basically ignorant of each other?
many tourist organizations are directly responsible for this state of affairs. they deliberately set out to protect their clients from too much contact with the local population. the modern tourist leads cosseted, sheltered life. he lives at international hotels, where he eats his international food and sips his international drink while he gazes at the natives from a distance. conducted tours to places of interest are carefully censored. the tourist is allowed to see only what the organizers want him to see and no more. a strict schedule makes it impossible for the tourist to wander off on his own; and anyway, language is always a barrier, so he is only too happy to be protected in this way. at its very worst, this leads to a new and hideous kind of colonization. the summer quarters of the inhabitants of the cite universities: are temporarily re-established on the island of corfu. blackpoll is recreated at torremolinos where the traveler goes not to eat paella, but fish and chips.
the sad thing about this situation is that it leads to the persistence of national stereotypes. we don’t see the people of other nations as they really are, but as we have been brought up to believe they are. you can test this for yourself. take five nationalities, say, french, german, english, american and italian. now in your mind, match them with these five adjectives: musical, amorous, cold, pedantic, native. far from providing us with any insight into the national characteristics of the peoples just mentioned, these adjectives actually act as barriers. so when you set out on your travels, the only characteristics you notice are those which confirm your preconceptions. you come away with the highly unoriginal and inaccurate impression that, say, ‘anglo-saxons are hypocrites’ or that ‘latin peoples shout a lot’. you only have to make a few foreign friends to understand how absurd and harmful national stereotypes are. but how can you make foreign friends when the tourist trade does its best to prevent you?
carried to an extreme, stereotypes can be positively dangerous. wild generalizations stir up racial hatred and blind u to the basic fact—how trite it sounds! –that all people are human. we are all similar to each other and at the same time all unique.
i have been to beijing for a travel. it was a great journey！
we have went to see the imperial palace and the great wall and these let me feel that i was proud to be a chinese. the imperial palace noted the history. there were many antiques which we could espy（从远处看到，窥见） the great culture . from the great wall，it was a well-known wonder in the world.it is made of big stones which was too heavy to bring even uesing it to buil a construction（n. 建筑， 建筑物） of ruggedization. what a great grandeur（庄严，伟大）！
Nice to hear from you again. As you know， this summer vacation，at the end of July，we winners of NEPC will go to a four-day English Summer Camp in Dalian. I'm very happily today! In the morning, it is very fine! Then I climbing the mountain with my parents, the air on the mountain is very fresh, the flowers plants and trees on the mountain all seem extremely beautiful. In the afternoon, I go to friend's home to play, the friend entertains me warmly, show me a lot of books of his , has listened to his CD for me , then also ask me to eat a sumptuous dinner. Coming back home in the evening, family and I sat and watched TV together, we are returning and eating the fruit while chatting, the whole family is happy and harmonious!
I like this travel!
