　　easter is celebrated on the weekend after the first full moon that follows march 21. that means in some years it‘s in late march, and other years in april. the word easter comes from the old english name for the saxon1 goddess of dawn called eostre. she was worshipped(敬奉) in the spring. in canada, the easter season is also a time for celebrating the rebirth of nature. the long cold winter is beginning to melt into(融合) spring.

　　寒假里，妈妈让我教弟弟学英语。这可真是一件苦差事呀!因为弟弟英语不太好,他平常又不用功。

　　那天中午，我开始教弟弟学英语了。我说：“Glad to see you。”弟弟却说：“Glag to she you。”我听了很生气，说:“不是‘Glag’,‘Glad’，另外不是‘she’，是‘see’。”弟弟虽然把“Glad”改过来了，可是“see”仍是改不过来。我说“see”，他呢，偏偏说“she”，好像成心气我似的。我让他看着我的嘴，看看我是怎么发音。他看了一会儿，改了过来。可是过了一会儿，又读成“she”了。我说：“不是读‘she’，而是‘see’,把舌尖稍微翘一点，舌头的两边放到牙齿的'两侧，牙齿的中间留一点空隙，开始发音，就发出‘see’了。”

　　弟听了，似乎明白了，好不容易发出了“see”。过了一会儿，我又指出“see”让弟弟读，弟弟读出了“see”，我高兴的说：“弟弟终于改过来了，这可真是太好了！”

　　又叫了一会儿，弟弟不耐烦了，吵着说不学了。我灵机一动：要不学着英语老师那样，一边讲，一边做游戏。于是，我就把我的想法说给弟弟听，弟弟拍手赞成。顿时，他想变了一个人，一下子有了精神。经过半个小时的努力，弟弟不仅把课文读会了，而且还背会了呢！

　　通过这件事，我明白了：当老师是多么不容易，我们应该懂得老师的良苦用心，老师说什么，我们做什么，做一个听话的好孩子。
