　　有这样一对有趣的父子：父亲长得肚大腰圆，总穿着一件黑马甲。儿子却长得瘦瘦小小，头发乱糟糟的。下面我就给您讲一个有关这对父子的故事：

　　春天到了，父子俩种的小树开始的发芽了。

　　一天，父亲带儿子来到了小树下。父亲想看一下儿子明年能长多高，于是就想用小树给儿子量身高。父亲拿来一个钉子和一把锤子，他先让儿子背靠着树站直了，又把钉子含在嘴里用牙齿咬着，再用锤子当标尺沿着儿子头顶的方向在树干上做了个标记，然后让儿子站到了一边，最后用锤子吧钉子定在了做标记的地方。

　　One day, the father took his son to the small tree. The father wanted to see how tall his son would grow next year, so he wanted to measure his height with a small tree. The father brought a nail and a hammer. He first let his son stand upright with his back against the tree, then held the nail in his mouth and bit it with his teeth. Then he used the hammer as a ruler to make a mark on the tree trunk along the direction of his son's head, and then let his son stand to one side. Finally, he used the hammer to fix the nail where the mark was made.

　　冬天到了，只有雪人还在陪伴着小树，父亲订在小树上的钉子还在呢。
