　　春天来了，父亲和他的儿子来到树林里。父亲胖乎乎的，长着一双小小的眼睛，稀疏的头发，还有两撮黑乎乎的小胡须呢!父亲拿着锤头给他的儿子量身高，儿子站在小树的前面，量完身高父亲在小树上订上钉子。

　　Spring came, and the father and his son came to the woods. The father is chubby, with a pair of small eyes, thin hair and two bunches of black moustaches. The father takes the hammer to measure his son's height. The son stands in front of the small tree, and after measuring his height, the father sets nails on the small tree.

　　冬天来了，树上的树叶落满了一地，天上飘着雪白雪白的雪花。父亲和儿子还堆了一个很可爱的雪人。不知不觉的春天又到了，树上长满了树叶，父亲和儿子又来到树林里。儿子站到小树前面，而树上的钉子却高了许多。父亲看了心里觉得有点奇怪：我的儿子怎么越长越矮了呢？他的儿子也有点奇怪：小树长高了，可是自己长得却不如小树长得高了，这是为什么呢？

　　Winter is coming, the leaves on the tree fall all over the ground, and the sky is floating with snow-white snow. Father and son also made a lovely snowman. Unconsciously, spring came again. The trees were covered with leaves. Father and son came to the woods again. The son stood in front of the small tree, but the nails on the tree were much higher. Father looked at the heart and felt a little strange: how can my son grow shorter? His son is also a little strange: the small tree grows tall, but he does not grow as tall as the small tree. Why?

　　噢！这是因为小树长得比人快，所以儿子就比小树矮了。
