　　我今年八岁了，是黑芝麻胡同小学一名一年级的小学生，过了暑假就要升入二年级了。刚入学的时候，妈妈就给我报了英语课程班，开始我不太喜欢学英语，课前不预习，也不按老师要求点读，根本达不到老师的'要求，学不好英语，我自己也很着急。

　　有一天放学回家，妈妈催我赶快点读当天的课程，我没有照做。于是，爸爸让我翻开课本读一读，我根本读不出来，大部分单词都不会，爸爸也着急了。正好要放寒假了，我决心把英语赶上去。每天，我早晨起来后就一遍一遍地点读课文，然后背单词，最后达到熟读课文的水平。经过几天的努力，终于把一个单元的内容学会了，有时候累得真想哭呀！就这样，我坚持每一个上午的英语学习，不到一个月，就把一个学期的内容都学会了。

　　第二学期开始了，我明显能够跟上老师的进度了，每天坚持点读、背诵课文。一共进行了三次考试，我从第十一名逐渐提升到了第三名，老师还专门让我向全班同学介绍学习经验。

　　一年级结束后，我被分到了精品班，现在我每次课堂听写、读书、背诵都很熟练，我也真正地喜欢上了英语。俗话说：“世上无难事，只怕有心人”。只要能够坚持，就一定能学好英语。
