上个星期六，我去参加英语学习班。到了那里，老师说：“今天是复习课，我们进行一次比赛好吗？”一听说要比赛，同学们顿时高兴地欢呼雀跃。老师接着宣布比赛规则：“比赛分两个组，两个环节，一个环节是必答题，一个环节是抢答题，我们先进行必答题，答对了加一分，答错了不扣分。”紧接着老师出了第一道题：“我可以邀请一些朋友来参加我的生日聚会吗？（汉译英）”。我们组的段鉴书同学站起来不慌不忙的用英语翻译了出来，老师二话没说就在黑板上加了一分，然后老师又让二组的同学回答！大部分同学都对答如流。这时，轮到我们组吴号同学了，老师出了一道题：“Shall we change to slippers？（英译汉）”。吴号一下想不起来了，急的抓耳挠腮，不知所措。我们组的同学急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，可二组的同学却恰恰相反，高兴的手舞足蹈，忽然我灵机一动，想出了一个办法提醒他，指了指脚，意思是说：我们还需要换拖鞋吗？可是他想不起来，忽然，他的脸上露出了笑容说：“我们可以换拖鞋吗？”老师说：“是需要，不是可以，就算你对吧！”
我们这才松了一口气。
必答题答完了，他们比我们多得两分，抢答题又开始了，抢答题的'规则是：答对了加两分，答错了减两分，同学们都争先恐后的举起了手，没被叫起回答问题的同学都唉声叹气，比赛在激烈进行着。这时我给我的组赢了两分，同学们都欢呼雀跃，比赛结束了，二组的同学赢了！他们都高兴的说了声：“耶！”
虽然我们没拿冠军，但是这种学习方式却极大的激发了我们学英语的兴趣。
