One of the most interesting places to visit in Singapore is the bird park.It's located in the industrial area of Singapore,called Jurong.The bird park is about 12 kilometres from the centre of the city and it's easy to get there by bus or taxi.
There are hundreds of beautiful birds from many different parts of the world, including enguins, parrots,eagles and ostriches.The birds are kept in large cages.There's also a very large cage which you can walk inside to get a closer look at the birds.It takes about two hours to see all the birds.You can walk around the park or ride on the bus.The best time to visit the park is in the early morning or late in the afternoon,when it is cooler.

英语是我们接触的第二种语言，我们从三年级开始学习英语，有的人一辈子会用到英语，也有的人可能过了学生期之后就不再用到它了。英语是世界上使用最广泛的语言，它的重要性不言而喻。我一开始也没有意识到，知道中考结束我才深刻认识到。当我们是学生的时候，英语最主要是帮我们来得到分数的，正是这个分数改变了我对英语的看法。
当中考成绩出来的时候，我被惊呆了，因为一百二十分的'英语，我仅仅考了八十八分，就连平时学习比我差的同学的英语成绩都比我好很多，我因此很失望，并下定决心要改变我的英语。
等我到了高一，我每天都认真的听老师讲课，努力的记单词，被词组，可是到了期末考试成绩出来的时候，依然没有什么起色，先不说记住的东西都记住了，即便是这样也不一定用得上。因此，我又迷茫了，我的努力并没有得到回报，空有一番热血。
高二到了文科班，竞争力更加大，这激励我不能放弃。
到了高二还是那样，但是我并没有放弃，而且我很幸运有一个英语同样差的同桌和拥有一个奇特的老师。当时我的同桌英语跟我一样，这个老师喜欢把考得好的和考得不好的人的名字当着全班的面读出来，每次读完我的名字就是她的，要不然就是先她后我，有时候还挺搞笑的，但是开心过后，就是我们俩的反思，我们两个决定一起改变英语。
每天早自习一到教室，先拿出英语练习做英语题，高中的复习资料很多，有时候甚至把高一的练习题拿出来做。可是每次做完之后对答案就错了很多，严重挫伤了我们的积极性，但是我们依然坚持着，但是没有放弃，这似乎已经成了一种习惯，等哪天没有做反而有些不习惯呢。
终于，功夫不有心人，在高二的期末成绩英语有了显著提升，或许以前那种方法并不适合我，多做练习题也是有用的，英语成绩的提高更加激励了我们，并且直到现在我也一直保持着做练习题的习惯，并且逐渐加强联系的强度。
希望我的故事能有所启示，当你有偏科现象的时候，可以试着喜欢它，爱上它。找到适合自己的方法。这就是我与英语的缘分。

英语书面表达能力的形成不是一日之功，必须从平时的课堂学习一点一滴抓起，持之以恒。今天我们给大家说说写作中常见的错误问题。
一篇优秀的英语作文在内容和语言两方面应是一个统一体，任何一方面的欠缺都会直接影响到作文的质量。然而，很多考生在写作中或者由于粗心大意，或者由于基本功不扎实而经常出现名词不变复数、第三人称单数不加s，前后不一致，以及时态语态、句子完整性等方面的错误。
1.审题不清
例如：中考作文要求写一项最喜欢的课外活动，有些考生将作文的主题定位为“我最喜欢的活动”，偏离了“一项、课外活动”这一主题。依据作文的.评分原则，若文章内容不切题，则不管语言如何规范、用词如何准确，都会被判为零分。
2.拼写错误
拼写是考生应该具备的最起码的基本功，但在中考生的作文中却经常能发现很多拼写错误。有拼写错误的作文肯定会被酌情扣分，而且有大量拼写错误存在的作文不仅体现出语言基本功差，同时也直接影响内容的表达，通常会降低作文的档次。
3.名词单复数问题
误my father and my mother is all teacher。
正my father and my mother are both teachers。
4.缺少动词
在汉语中没有动词的句子是允许的，但英语中每个完整的句子都必须有动词来构成，如：“我累了。”这个句子没有动词作谓语，而用形容词，但英语形容词不能作谓语，一定要写成：i'm tired。
5.缺少介词、冠词等
还有一些考生因为没有熟练掌握介词或者冠词的用法，不了解中英文语言习惯的不同，也会出现明显的错误，造成丢分现象。
6.代词的误用
英语中代词的形式很多，包括主格、宾格、物主代词、反身代词等。而汉语中没有主格和宾格、形容词性物主代词和名次性物主代词之分；此外汉语中很多时候不用物主代词，而英语中物主代词是不可省略的，代词的误用是考生最容易发生的错误。
7.句子不完整
有的考生因为对句子结构认识模糊，所以出现只写半句的现象，这也是造成失分的原因之一。
8.前后不一致
所谓不一致，包括数的不一致、时态不一致及代词不一致、主谓不一致等。
9.时态、人称和数的搭配错误
汉语动词无时态、人称和数的变化，而对英语来说，这些都至关重要。
10.综合性错误
综合性错误是指单词的大小写和标点符号的错误等，以及形容词和副词的混淆、连词的误用等等。这些都是靠考生平时知识的积累，所以考生应该从平时练习出发，每天坚持写英语日记，多读适合自己英语水平的原版著作，提高自己的英语素养。

Nowadays, it has become a trend for many college students to get an off-campus apartment. And it is very popular among college students . They think that it is a chance to close to the community and sharpen themselves. What’s more, through it can make them had their own independent space and let them do what they love to do. More still, it is an effective way to reduce the friction between their roommates and themselves. But, as for as I am concerned , it is not an appealing way for college students to treasure themselves. There are main two reasons to supporting my opinion.
On one hand, our college students do not better to control themselves, in other words, they don’t have the ability to control themselves to resist some bad temptations. So, they may be very easy to led astray. And if they belong to the self-control relatively groups ,they are very easy to be influenced by the outside surroundings. As a result, they may be very easy to do something that is contrary to the ethical norms of society, school rules and regulations ,and the matter of human nature.
On the other hand, there are some security risks to get an off-campus apartment . Firstly, the nearby surroundings of rental concentrated is very bad , garbage and sewage can be seen here and there, it influences the
rental college students’ healthy seriously. Secondly , a great many rental housing are illegal structures; and a large number of rental housing have bad doors and windows that are in disrepair ; more still, there are a lot of wire aging. As an consequence, it exists many security risks. Finally, some criminal may be easy to take aim at college students ,who get an off-campus apartment , and commit their crimes.
At last, there are some suggestions for it. Firstly, The community should have a responsible attitude to serve college students, and really provide them with a good surrounding environment. Secondly, the school should seriously think about it, and they also should strictly management it and increase the hardware construction and create a better living, learning environment, so that students are willing to live in the school. Finally, if the college student decides to go out to live, it had better to ensure himself security ; and do best to choose the place ,which has a better environment for living.
