今天，晚上的英语作业是让我们复习英语，因为，明天我们要进行英语达标赛。老师的要求是先让我们大声地朗读下发的英语资料两遍，还有一张英语模拟卷二要求家长批改好，如果有错误要订正好，在九十五分以下，需要再重新做一遍。
我让妈妈给我批改了这张试卷，我虽然没有拿到满分，但却只有九十六分。于是，妈妈要求我再重新做一遍。我不愿意做，可妈妈硬逼着我再做一遍。我没有办法，只好老老实实地又做了一遍。可是，当妈妈批改的'时候，我又有错误了。妈妈很生气，说道：“我刚才不是叫你订正好了吗？你有没有认真复习自己的错题呢？同样的试卷你还是做错，你在干什么？我看你这样子，明天就是一模一样的试卷，你也拿不到满分。”我说：“我又不想做，是你叫我做的，我就乱做一气。”妈妈生气地说：“你这样复习有什么效果，我看你明天考几分？”说完，妈妈就走开了。
留下我在那里订正，我心想：我怎么会考不好呢？你等着吧！

我们这一个学期，换了一位新的英语老师，他姓许。
初见时，只见他西装革履，器宇轩昂，嘴下有颗痣，算不上帅气，也算不上貌丑。可我一见他就心生厌恶，也说不出为什么。
外表也就那样了，但不得不说他确实是位好老师，讲课细致，该记的笔记也会特别尽心尽责地书写在黑板上。规定要背的'内容他会全盘监督，可以说是十分之一丝不苟了。
早就听说许老师很严厉，真正接触他之后便发现，这位老师的严厉之中还是有几分平易近人的，不是人们想象中的那种恶魔。
最后不得不说的是许老师的字了。他常说：“字如其人。”甚至特地为此给我们上过一节课。但是他自己的字着实令叶某（我）不敢恭维。笔画相连，说白了就是连笔字，说是连笔字还算是美化，其实就是潦草，很多时候都极难辨认。抄笔记的我们着实是叫苦连天！
