　　我今年上六年级了，即将升入中学，面临小升初的考试，老师对我们的要求也越来越严格了，虽然作业不太多，可是，写完作业剩下的时间就要用来背诵我最讨厌的英语课文了。

　　不知道为什么，我好像永远也学不会英语，望着一个个让人眼花缭乱的英语单词、句子，我的思维一下就乱了，尤其是老师还要求把课文背下来。让我不寒而栗。每天我回到家，做完作业，就拿出英语课本，读上好几遍，背上好几遍，可是把书一合上，这讨厌的英语好像跟我作对似的，让我连一句也想不起来，气得我抓耳挠腮。

　　虽然我背不下英语课文，可是我对语文却是倒背如流，我恨不得让全世界的人都来学中文。

　　学英语给我带来了很多烦恼，一到周末，我还要去英语补习班，但是我打心里就不想去，可是不去行吗？爸爸妈妈期待的眼神，老师威严的目光，我只能硬着头皮往前冲。我做英语作业，除了抄写单词，其它的总出错，本子上老师那鲜红的大叉叉，强烈的刺痛我的心。

　　英语中的'句式对我来说真的好难，难于上青天，什么现在进行时，什么一般过去时，过去将来时，记得我头晕。有一次我在背课文，好不容易记住了第一句，又开始记第二句，然后又连起来背，结果发现，两句都没记住。

　　每天早上，我起来干的第一件事就是读英语，晚上睡觉前干的最后一件事还是读英语，一听到英语这两个字，我就头大。

　　为了学英语，我放弃了玩游戏机的时间，为了学英语，我放下了手中的遥控机……我只能用一首诗表达我的心情：本是中国人，为何学英语，既然学不会，何必苦自己！

They are faced with many new situations and have to learn to solve them independently, making decisions on their own and dealing with various things themselves. So colleges and universities help them grow up.
